Day Sailer Rudder Head

Upgrade your Day Sailer rudder head with a lighter Gresham Marine kick up rudder system for a Day Sailer. The kick up rudder allows you to launch from a beach or shore. When landing, the kick up rudder is typically pulled up just before the rudder touches the bottom. The Day Sailer rudder head can be easily installed by the boat owner and for boats with existing gudgeons, you can request that the pintles not be drilled, so you can match your existing gudgeons. The rudder head with heavy duty pintles weighs only 5 1/2 pounds.  Pintles have a 3/8″ diameter pin. Optionally add 1 1/2″ black anodized tiller and comes 6 feet in length which can be cut down to fit your preferences.
